Merci, Trevor (et félicitations).

Point De Vue

Thank You Trevor (And Congratulations)

The View

When people and/or horses enter The Canadian Horse Racing Hall Of Fame, as with most any HOF, they largely go in based on statistics. It’s simply the best and easiest way to quantify a career in sports.

HOF Legend

"And There Was Never A Horse Like The Great Dan Paatch!"

He was a mega-superstar. He was Tiger Woods, Mike Trout and Lebron James all rolled into one. There were Dan Patch whiskey bottles, shot glasses, cigars, coffee, billiard cues, etc.

No End In Sight

Angus Hall

One of Ontario’s all-time leading trotting sires, who would know Angus Hall better than the man who oversaw most of the stallion’s career at Winbak Canada?

A Man For All Animals

Jimmy Takter

If you’re involved in harness racing anywhere around the globe, there’s a good chance you’ve heard of Jimmy Takter. The man’s record speaks for itself, having trained winners of over $134,000,000 in purses, and having won almost every big race that racing has to offer. What more is there to know?

"A Really Great Human Being"

Ian Fleming

Ian Fleming, currently the racing secretary for the majority of Ontario’s racetracks, is very happy staying behind-the-scenes to do his thing. He’s humble. He doesn’t need to be in the limelight, or in every photograph taken.

Trottin' Trev: Aggressive But Smart

Trevor Ritchie

When it came to being at one’s best when the big money was on the line, few drivers, if any, were better than Trevor Ritchie.

Maman à un Million de dollars

Tricky Tooshie

Ce n’est pas facile de tracer sa voie vers le Temple de la Renommée des Courses de Chevaux, et ça ne devrait pas l’être. Une carrière d’un million de dollars de gains ne suffit pas à garantir la reconnaissance,

Million-Dollar Mama

Tricky Tooshie

A star in Quebec at age two and three, the daughter of Rumpus Hanover eventually had to move to Ontario to find worthy competition. Early in her five-year-old year she found herself with a new trainer (Rick Zeron) and a new caretaker (Linda Bedard)... two other Ontario residents that were transplanted natives of Quebec.
