Horseman Kelly Hoerdt took top honours in multiple categories at the annual Alberta Standardbred Horse Association (ASHA) Awards banquet on Saturday night at Edmonton’s Northlands Park.

Travis Cullen put together another productive night at Northlands Park on Friday thanks to a training/driving hat trick that started with a little help from the Judges’ stand.

"You have to drive smart here because there are no holes. They will not give you a hole and they will not give you an inch. It is a lot tougher here than it is back home, that's for sure."
