Neil Alfred Curran passed away peacefully at Broadview Nursing Centre in Smiths Falls, Ont. on Monday, June 19, at the age of 93.

Longtime horse owner Lowell Stead of Montague, P.E.I. passed away on Wednesday, May 10, 2023 in his 81st year at the Kings County Memorial Hospital.

Longtime harness racing industry participant Jack Jones passed away on May 15, 2023 at Woodstock Hospital at the age of 90.

On May 12, 2023, the harness racing community lost another longtime participant. Robert Clare lost a courageous battle with cancer at the age of 63.
