Robert (Bob) Elgin McKinley, former Member of Parliament for Huron County, passed away peacefully on Sunday, Oct. 16 at Huronview Nursing Home in Clinton, Ont., at the age of 94.

Longtime racing industry executive Herb Bryant passed away peacefully on Thursday, Oct. 6, 2022 at the age of 96. 

Longtime broadcaster, media personality and harness racing participant Dave Brower of Parsippany, N.J. passed away on Thursday (Oct. 7) at the age of 53.

Herbert Carl Wells of Harriston, Ont. passed away peacefully at his home on Monday, Oct. 3 in his 84th year.

Longtime harness racing industry participant Jean-Pierre Houle passed away at Haut-Richelieu Hospital in Quebec on Friday, September 23, 2022, at the age of 77.

A member of Standardbred Canada for more than 50 years, longtime harness racing industry participant David Fuller of Sunderland, Ont. passed away on Sept. 12, 2022 at the age of 74.

Phillip “Jack” Jackson Baugh Jr., 90, former president of the United States Trotting Association, passed away peacefully on Saturday, Sept. 10.

James V. Compton, 80, passed away on Tuesday, Sept. 13, 2022.

Hall of Fame horseman Ted Wing died peacefully on Sept. 13, 2022 surrounded by his family after a battle with Alzheimer’s disease at the age of 74.

Harness racing great Lucien Fontaine passed away peacefully on Sunday morning (Sept. 11) at the age of 83.

Richard R. Mays of Hamburg, N.Y., passed away on September 7, 2022 after a fierce battle with cancer.
