Results will be updated online for the fifth and final session of the 2019 Lexington Selected Yearling Sale.

The sale, to be held in its traditional location at the Fasig-Tipton Pavilion in Lexington, Kentucky, kicked off on Tuesday (Oct. 1) and continues though Saturday, October 5. The auction coincides with The Red Mile's Grand Circuit meet.

History was made in the opening session as Maverick became the first Standardbred yearling to sell for seven figures. A full-brother to Greenshoe, Maverick — by Father Patrick out of the mare Designed To Be — left the sales ring for $1.1 million. Brad Grant and Tony Alagna purchased the colt consigned by Kentuckiana Farms and bred by Al Libfeld and Marvin Katz. Grant confirmed that the colt will race under a partnership.

Following a historic opening day Muscle Hill colt Red Redemption topped the second session, held on Wednesday (Oct. 2) evening at the Fasig-Tipton Pavilion in Lexington, Ky. Consigned by Preferred Equine Inc. for Jeff Gural's Little E LLC, Red Redemption attracted a $320,000 bid from Åke Svanstedt. The son of Muscle Hill is the eighth foal of Magenta Hall and a half-brother to millionaire and Yonkers Trot winner Dewycolorintheline.

The third session of the 2019 Lexington Selected Yearling Sale was held Thursday evening at the Fasig-Tipton Pavilion in Lexington, KY, and it was a daughter of the Ontario-based sire, Kadabra, checking in as the nightly sale topper. Hip No. 432, Up And Ready, consigned by Preferred Equine Inc. for Cool Creek Farm of Mt. Pleasant, Ont., attracted a $300,000 bid from James Glass. Out of Glide By, a three-quarter sister to Maven (T1:51.1 - $2,005,369), the filly is a half-sister to Nows The Moment (1:53.3 - $157,437).

The fourth session of the 2019 Lexington Selected Yearling Sale was held Friday night at the Fasig-Tipton Pavilion in Lexington, KY, and a pair of trotters -- Captain Corey and Stonebridge Danish -- dead-heated for being the highest-priced purchases of the evening at $150,000.

The auction has nearly 800 yearlings catalogued, with each session slated to begin at 7:00 p.m.
