MacInnis Celebrates First Career Win

Bennie Hill's victory in Wednesday's seventh race at Summerside Raceway marked a special milestone for 18-year-old MacKenzie MacInnis.

With Brodie MacPhee in the sulky, three-year-old Benvolio Hanover colt Bennie Hill ($12.70) sat fourth for most of the mile before coming on to win in a new mark of 2:01, providing MacInnis with her first training triumph.

Bennie Hill is MacInnis' second trainee and 27th starter. The rookie trainer shares ownership of the colt with breeders Arlene and Gregory MacInnis, all of Tyne Valley, P.E.I.
