This week's edition of 'Rewind' takes on a slightly different look as it is all about old pictures. Robert Smith has assembled a variety of pictures from various sources and time periods and asks the reading audience to try their luck at identifying them. Even if you don't care to participate as a "guesser" it is hoped that everyone will enjoy browsing through the old Album.

Rules & Regulations: You need only identify those you recognize (no need to say "no idea" etc.) and submit your answer along with the corresponding picture number.

P.S. - You can enter more than once for NO additional charge.

1. Can you correctly identify the three gentlemen above seated beside the awning of the stable of A.D. Dumas?

2. Can you put a name on this fellow, all dressed up in orange and black? (Jerry McCabe)

3. Can you identify this young lad heading toward a win all by himself? (Abahazy Photos)

4. The fellow on the left is "Biff" Lowry, head of The Red Mile at Lexington for many years. Who is the well-known person on the right?

5. Can you correctly name this well-known driver with #3 headed for victory? The track was Wolverine as shown in the background. (Abahazy Photos)

6. These two lads are about to finish first (6) and second (2). Can you name them both? (Abahazy Photos)

7. A nice looking young fellow in his driving attire. Can you name this accomplished driver ? (Harness Horse)

8. This one should be easy. Yes or No? Can you put a tag on him? (Harness Horse)

9. All alone and setting a record is this fellow in the driver's seat. Who is he, and the horse's name too please?

10. A nice old black and white photo. This one may be a bit tougher than most of these. Put a name on him if you can.

11. This fellow checked a lot of stalls in his lengthy career. Can you name him? (Hoof Beats)

12. Can you name this very well-known driver as he appeared in 1963. Clue: his driving attire changed quite a bit in later years.

Note: I would like to thank Mr. Don Daniels whose tireless efforts have made a number of these photos available. Many of the negatives that were used to produce these high quality pictures were surely headed to the landfill if not for his hard work and dedication.
