The exposure for Standardbred Canada's Bet Canadian campaign is growing. On Friday, Toronto's 680 News covered the campaign as part of their morning news roll

As of Friday morning, the total handle on Canadian harness racing for 2011 is down just 0.38 per cent from last year's total. After Thursday night's cards, the 2011 total handle stands at $417.5 million, down 0.38 percent - or $1.6 million - from the 2010 total of $419.1 million.
On Thursday, one of the Bet Canadian longshot picks won at 15-1. Friday's Bet Canadian picks and program pages are available on the Bet Canadian page.

Whoever is picking or
Whoever is picking or handicapping the BET CANADIAN scenario should perhaps try for price horses in races 1-5. Then when one comes up , say in race 3 and pays $43.60, the lucky person will keep betting and not use their own money. Up goes the handle and up goes the money bet in the year 2011.
Repeat drivers come along a lot. Play them if the driver won in race 2. In race 3, play driver right back to win. I have been watching this and it happens 1-2-3 times per night. Note--in above races you can play anything in races 1-5 or 6 ,even up to the night-cap. The main thing is to use the track money, not your own.
Try it--works a lot at times. Best of luck in blowing the old mutuel record away.
NOTE--2 repeat drivers Friday night Dec.16 at WO.
Prices were $6.70, and $30.80

I'm always interested in
I'm always interested in angle plays - thanks for pointing this out; I will be observing with interest. One minor point: Any money that I win is mine (not the track's) so I'm always betting with my own money and anything less than due diligence on my part regardless of the source of the funds would be foolish. As far as the "tracks money" is concerned, thats what my money becomes when I lose.

2 repeat drivers at WO Friday night.
In race 6, the Golden Greek came right back after winning with Dreamfair Eternal in race 5.
His race 6 paid $6.70.
Then, in the nightcap, Keith Oliver took the late DD. The winning price in the last race was a tidy $11.90. Keith has found new life since he now drives for trainer MONTINI.
The two of them get along just fine.
Another angle is that Randy Waples is going to produce his share of longshots, sooner or later.(sooner, in my mind. ) He did just that Friday in race 8. OVER AND OUT paid $30.80 as the highest price on the card.
Perhaps these teasers will add money to the BET CANADIAN total that has to break last year's mutuel record.
