Open Pace

The quintet involved in Buffalo Raceway's $16,500 Open Pace sure did put on a show once again on Saturday afternoon (July 9) with Just Plain Loco ($2.80) proving to be the best this time around.

Soho Leviathan A had not won a race yet this season.  That all changed on Friday (July 8) at Cumberland when driver Mike Stevenson steered him to a neck triumph in 1:55.4

Natameri ($2.70) and driver Frank Affrunti held on to capture the $7,700 Open Pace featured on Friday (July 8) at Vernon Downs. 

Seventeen races went behind the gate on Friday (July 8) at Eldorado Scioto Downs. Amongst rain and downgraded track conditions, two mares, Chuppah On and Refined, highlighted the program.

CR Blazin Beauty found an unfamiliar driver in the sulky for the $16,500 Open Trot on Saturday afternoon (July 2) at Buffalo Raceway and she sure did everything to impress him

Hennessey claimed victory in both features at Tioga Downs on Sunday (June 19).

The Thursday (June 16) harness racing program at Running Aces was loaded with featured pacing events, and the $16,500 Mares Open Handicap Pace took top billing. 

Speed was king at Running Aces on the Tuesday (June 14) program as six of the eight winners on the night were on top at the quarter pole.

It’s now three straight scores in the Open Pace at Fraser Downs for Armycaptin Hanover, who rolled to a 1:56 triumph in Monday evening’s $7,000 featured affair.
