Tlb Racing’s Sprocket ($2.40) was a 1:51.3 winner in the featured $30,822 Open Pace for driver Pat Berry on Monday, April 15 at Harrington Raceway.
The nine-year-old Sportswriter gelding made the lead after the quarter-mile and cruised to his third win of the year from 10 starts over Live Love Lindy and Dontlikeitleave. Trained by Traci Berry, Sprocket has banked $519,696 in his career and won 32 races.
Earlier on the card, PT Stable’s Bettorbyseaside ($3.60) won his third straight race in 1:52.4 in a $47,945 claiming event for driver Art Stafford Jr. and trainer Crissy Crissman-Bier.
Another veteran pacer visited the winner’s circle on Monday as 10-year-old Proper One ($3), with Cody Poliseno in the bike, notched his 47th career win for owner Louis Tomczak Jr. and trainer Carlo Poliseno in 1:54.2.
Live harness racing will continue on a Monday through Wednesday schedule. Post time is 4:30 p.m.
