Driver Montrell Teague won seven races on Tuesday, April 9 at Harrington Raceway, headlined by George and Tina Dennis and Mark Stonesifer’s Grandeur Seelster ($12.80), who scored a 1:55.3 win in the featured $30,405 Mares Open Handicap Pace.
Favourite Misty Coast made a belated move to the front at the quarter-mile pole, where she grabbed the lead in :27.3 from Got The Gold. Misty Coast led through a half-mile in :57.1 and three-quarters in 1:27 when a strong first-over challenge ensued from Grandeur Seelster. Grandeur Seelster blew by the leader at the top of the stretch and opened up on the field for her fourth win of the year in eight starts. Twin Delight was second in a dead heat with Western Secret A.

Grandeur Seelster’s feature win was part of a natural grand slam for Teague in races five through eight. Teague guided Square Deal ($2.40) to her third straight win in a sharp 1:53.2, and also My Kiwi Lady N ($6.80), an 11-year-old Art Major mare, to her 38th career win. Teague then prevailed with Need Ur Opinion ($2.80) to complete the win streak. Later in the card, Teague won three straight races, with Twin B Echo ($2.10), Idyllic Delight ($2.40) and Prideful ($3). Prideful and Idyllic Delight are trained by Mike Hall, who had four wins on the card.
Art Stafford had three wins on the card for the second straight night. Corey Callahan had a driving double.
