After the Sunday, Aug. 21 program at Georgian Downs was cut short due to severe weather conditions, officials have announced that the $100,000 Honourable Earl Rowe Memorial Invitational Trot along with the Ontario Sires Stakes events from that card have been rescheduled.
The Earl Rowe along with the fourth leg of the Grassroots Series for three-year-old filly trotters and the uncontested fourth leg division of the Prospect Series for three-year-old colt trotters will be moved to Sunday, Aug. 28 at Georgian.
Trot Insider has learned that the OSS events will be rescheduled as drawn, but the Earl Rowe will be rescheduled as an overnight event and will require a new draw with horses required to re-enter.
