Having grown up in
Having grown up in Fredericton I had the pleasure of knowing George Woodside. He gave me a few pointers when I had my very first horse at the Fredericton track.
He and my father Ron Burgess were great friends and they owned some horses together over the years. One of them was Rockin Rhonda who later became a broodmare. It was great to see George and Ron in the winners circle in Saint John a couple of years ago when one of her offspring, Rhonda's Belle, won a stake race.
George was a fine man and he will be missed. My condolences to his family.
