The most exciting new wager in harness racing, the $30,000 added Metro 6 Shooter, now has a web site designed to help horseplayers find pool and payout information, links to free Trackmaster past performance pages
and the latest news associated with the dual-track pick six wager.
The details of the exotic bet, which challenges bettors every Saturday night to pick the winners of four races at Meadowlands Racetrack and two at Yonkers Raceway, can be found at the Metro 6 Shooter website. The wager has been hit by a single player for $43,181 the first week and $50,847 the second week.
"Meadowlands Racetrack's web site has a lot of information on the Metro 6 Shooter, including our in-house handicappers' selections, but this new site puts all the information relating to the Metro 6 Shooter in one place," said Alex Dadoyan, assistant vice president of racing development and distribution for Meadowlands Racetrack.
Metro6shooter.com offers picks and comments by Frank Cotolo and Metro Mitch, who does the same for Twinspires.com. The site also has a unique section for simulcast outlet operators that offers marketing materials, which can be easily downloaded, to help promote the wager. Metro6shooter.com was designed by Horseshoe Marketing, Inc. of Naperville, IL.

Yes, I've been told you can
Yes, I've been told you can play it at WEG tracks and through our teletheatre network at least. And, all multi-leg wagers (such as this one) from U.S. venues will now have the takeouts matched when you bet through us. This wasn't always the case.

I'd love to be able to place
I'd love to be able to place a bet on the Metro Six Shooter. Unfortunately I have no access to account wagering (Northern Ontario) and our local Champions bar does not offer it for wagering (?!)
