Trot Insider has learned that former O'Brien Award winning driver Trevor Ritchie will be back in Canada and ready for action on Monday, April 16, if needed
.
When contacted, Ritchie stated, "I was at Pompano on Saturday and qualified a couple for Jim McDonald, and then schooled two more of his after the qualifiers. It felt great to be back in the bike and I'm looking forward to returning home and getting back into action."
Ritchie is a career winner of 3,652 races and over $68 million in purses including the 2000 Hambletonian with Yankee Paco.
