Languishing in last at the half, Victory Is Coming erased a nine-length deficit with a determined bid that carried her to victory — her 17th this year — in Tuesday’s $22,500 Filly & Mare Preferred Handicap Trot at The Meadows

Unhurried early for Mike Wilder, Victory Is Coming picked up live cover from Caviar Forthe Lady, moved three-wide around the final turn and defeated the game Caviar Forthe Lady by a neck in 1:57.4. Early leader Rose Run Keepsake saved show. It was one of three wins on the 15-race card for Wilder.
