The first foals of O'Brien Award winners Silver Label and Prohibition Legal have arrived at Millar Farms in Stouffville, Ont.
Owner/breeder George Millar told Trot Insider that the seven-year-old millionaire mares each foaled colts in February.
Silver Label (Bettors Delight-Hidden Gem), the 2022 Three-Year-Old Pacing Filly of the Year who went on to take a lifetime mark of 1:47.3 winning the 2023 Lady Liberty at The Meadowlands, foaled a colt by world champion Always B Miki on Feb. 13.
Prohibition Legal (Big Jim-Catch A Wish), who was named the 2021 Two-Year-Old Pacing Filly of the Year after her near-perfect debut season, foaled a colt by world champion Sweet Lou, the leading money-winning sire in 2025. Her foal arrived on Feb. 23.
