I fondly remember Mario when he was a very young man helping his Dad, Gilles at Blue Bonnets . He was an energetic kid with an engaging personality who always seemed to be smiling . Having seen Mario turn into a fine horseman and a good man was not surprising because he had the " Lachance Bloodlines " which made it an almost certainty that he would be a success . Sincere condolences to his spouse and children and especially to his father Gilles who is one of the greats in the sport of harness horse racing . The Lachance family has lost a wonderful man but may his memories comfort you in the days ahead .

Mario Lachance,
Tout ce qu'il y a de bon dans les courses. Bravo Mario pour ce que tu nous a fait vivre durant les bonnes années. Que de bons souvenirs.

My condolences to the Lachance Family. RIP Mario

We would like to extend our heartfelt condolences to all the extended family of Mario.
We stabled beside him at Blue Bonnets in the early 90's and found him so polite and helpful a true gentleman.
