After an Ottawa City Council committee gave its blessing last week, City Council has followed suit and given the green light for the necessary rezoning for Rideau Carleton Raceway to install 21 gaming tables as part of a pilot project
.
A report by the Ottawa Business Journal states that even though the pilot program still needs approval by the province, officials were cited as saying last month that it will likely go through.
