Todd Trites spent the afternoon portion of his Fathers’ Day putting on a driving clinic at Truro Raceway
. He made five trips to victory lane over the course of the 12-race program, and in doing so he surpassed 1,600 lifetime wins.
Trites got the ball rolling with a 2:01.1 score in the opener behind the Dr. Trevin Shive-trained P H Turbo. He added wins with Cloverhills Dot (2:01.2), Shooters Bay (1:59.3), Noordinary Lady (2:00) and P H Hotshot (1:57.4) to complete his five-win day at the office.
Trites continues to lead all reinsman at Truro Raceway thanks to the 34 victories he’s racked up this season at the Nova Scotia half-miler.
