Timeline Coming For Baymount?

According to an article today by the Bellville Intelligencer, the Belleville Agricultural Society has the right to impose a time line on Baymount Inc. regarding the development of the New Quinte Exhibition and Raceway

. The report also states that the society can rescind its partnership with Baymount if such a time line is not adhered to.

The Belleville Agricultural Society owns the racing licence for the track.

Regarding the lack of progress on the project, Doug Rollins, Agricultural Society board member, said, "It's very disappointing. The sentiments of the fair board are that we're very, very disappointed. They (Baymount) assured us at the time they had sufficient money and we've been waiting."

Last week, Ontario Lottery Gaming Commission chief executive officer Kelly McDougald said it is the Belleville Agricultural Society which must decide if Baymount is the partner they wish to proceed with and if Belleville is the preferred location for the racetrack.
