It has been reported that provincial officials are still in the midst of assembling a three-person interim board to replace the recently-ousted 12-member board of the Nova Scotia Provincial Exhibition.
An article by the Truro Daily News has quoted a spokesperson for the Agriculture Department as saying that “staff within the agriculture department are still working on finding individuals to sit on the board.”
The spokesperson, Krista Higdon, was also quoted as saying that officials are making sure the right people are selected to the interim board.
"They're still working on it," Higdon said. "It is their intent to get it done as soon as possible. I just think it's taking some time to meet and interview and do whatever they need to do to make sure it's the right people."
