Most of the time a dip into the backyard pool is a good thing, but not if you are a horse -- and especially not in January.
A report from wmur.com tells the story of Coal and Zoey, horses that got out of their paddock and wandered onto a snow-covered pool cover. Both horses, one of which was pregnant, went through the ice and into the seven-foot-deep pool.
The horses were in the pool for some time before the coordinated actions of many firefighters resulted in the two horses being pulled out.
