For this week's Rewind Robert Smith offers up the monthly edition of Picture Parade, a regular feature that displays old photos for your viewing and perhaps guessing pleasure.
This time around as usual a central theme exists and all of today's "oldies" feature people that might all be truly classified as being "senior citizens." I know that term does not get used too often but these folks because of their long years of faithful service give them this badge of honour. If this introduction sounds familiar, it is for good reason.
This list is an all U.S.-born cast, unlike last month when all the pictured folks were Canadian-born. I still think most of these fellows should be recognizable to Canadian readers. All have passed and if still with us would be over 100 years old.

Blast From The Past
A day at the races. This old photo was taken at Aylmer, Ont. in 1948. It is interesting to see how well dressed all of the racegoers are.
HAPPY NEW YEAR!
This will be the final Rewind for 2024. Stay tuned as we soon welcome in 2025.
