A four-horse accident marred Sunday afternoon's eleventh race at Harrah's Philadelphia.
The accident took place near the third quarter mark of the race when Rocknmyjeans (driven by Marcus Miller) fell after taking over fourth-place along the pylons.
Straightup Tequila (Anthony Coletta) couldn't avoid the collision from behind sending his driver flying to the track. Trailers Tell Stienam (Tyler Butenschoen) and Noble Logans Lou (George Napolitano Jr.) were also involved in the incident.
Coletta was transported to hospital. The extent of his injuries are unknown at this time.
ABC affiliate WPVI Philadelphia News has reported that the hospital that Coletta was rushed to was the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania and that he underwent an undisclosed surgery.
The report states that Coletta remains in critical condition as of Monday.
