One half of a father/son duo, Roy Sproxton will be making the trip to Ottawa with his father Don Sproxton. Both players managed to qualify at the Adrenaline Festival this summer and are looking to score big in the $25,000 final
that will be held at Rideau Carleton Raceway on November 8th.
Sproxton was a contestant in the 2008 edition of the Championship but didn’t manage to finish in the money. He’s got a new game plan for 2009 and is excited to be competing along side of his father this year.
Trot Insider takes a look at what makes this contender tick.

Sproxton has been a race fan for 20 years yet has never made the trip to Rideau Carleton, he’s hoping his first trip up will be a lucky one. With $25,000 on the line Sproxton will be ready to play and hopes to bring home the biggest payout of his life. He’d love to reinvest in the industry and purchase another racehorse.
