A special evening is being planned to honour two of Canada's greatest harness racing legends, Keith and Ron Waples.

To honour one of the greatest horsemen in the history of harness racing, the Standardbred Canada website concludes its five-part series on the legendary Keith Waples on his 90th birthday.

The year of 1967, Canada's Centennial Year, was a milestone year for Keith Waples. At the age of just 44 he had already seen and done more than anyone else in the sport.
