Breathing Fire Into Western Canada's Stallion Ranks

In 2013, partners Al Neurauter and Kelly MacMillan traveled to Harrisburg to buy some mares. While there, they also decided they’d like to bring home a stud horse by the name of Custard The Dragon.

Although they didn’t land Custard in the first attempt, the seed had been planted. He’s now been with them in Alberta since 2014, and although his fertility isn’t exactly the greatest, his progeny are turning heads in Western Canada. By Chris Lomon
