Inverness Raceway has cancelled the card of harness racing slated for Sunday, Sept. 6 due to the weather and ongoing power issues.
A state of emergency has been declared in Inverness, Richmond and Victoria counties in Nova Scotia due to severe flooding and widespread damage. Multiple roads are closed and conditions remain dangerous.
Officials with Inverness have shifted the card to Wednesday, Sept. 9 with a first post time of 7 p.m. (ADT).
