On Monday, September 14, Governor JB Pritzker appointed Leslye Sandberg of Barrington, Illinois to the Illinois Racing Board.
As past President/CEO of the Permatron Corporation, Sandberg has extensive experience in design build, manufacturing process and process improvement.
Utilizing her background in research, product development and manufacturing, Sandberg holds multiple product utility patents for unique products in the area of air filtration.
Sandberg holds a BS from University of Illinois, Urbana and an MBA from Kellogg at Northwestern University. She has experience at the board level across nonprofit as well as national industry organizations.
