To help celebrate another successful race meet in Yorkton and to thank everyone involved, SSHA/SSBOA is inviting all members, all horsemen (staff & families), along with all Yorkton Exhibition Officials/Staff/Volunteers and SLGA Officials to a BBQ this Friday
evening after the races in the backstretch area.
"It has been a challenging year dealing with the weather,” said Glenn Le Drew, President of the Saskatchewan Standardbred Horsemen’s Association. “There has been rain on most race days and we even had to re-schedule a few because of severe stormy weather. We thought an event like this would be a good way of bringing everyone together and a chance to say thank you to all those who have helped contribute to this year's program."
"A special thanks to all the horsemen for racing their horses here, to all YEA staff, and especially all volunteers who help make the race meet possible. We hope to see you all there."
