Merv was great to drive for, he was always appreciative of the drivers efforts and I respected that the most. Condolences to Rick and family from the Jamieson Clan

So sorry to hear of the passing of a great man....

I first met him years ago as "the chip man" and
later ... Stabled and owned a horse with him
and learn about the horse racing business....
He always made us feel like part of the family...
He was a very kind man and will truly be missed by
both of us and many many others.....

Thanks Merv for everything...

Our prayers go out to sandra and all the family
RIP Merv...

Merv was a great man. The kind of man you could count on to give you the shirt of his back, and if he wasn't wearing one, would go find one to give you if you needed it.

Everyone should recognize what a great person for the sport has been lost, weather someone new looking for a break and looking to learn or to the person that has been around forever needing a little bit of help Merv would be there to help out if and when he could.

He will be greatly missed as a Husband, Grandfather, Father, and acquaintance by many.

RIP Merv you will be in our thoughts for a long time.

Very sorry to hear Merv was a great man that would do anything to help you out. I was lucky enough to drive several for him and he was always there to greet you with a warm smile. My thoughts go out to his family. He Will be missed.
