Rain or Shine, it will be ‘Hockeyville Day’ at Hanover Raceway this Saturday night.
Hanover Walmart has donated six bikes for kids 13 and under that wear a hockey jersey or shirt to the races.
Hockeyville was started about a decade ago when Hanover competed in the Kraft Hockeyville contest to try and win money towards the new P and H Centre.
The track’s general manager, Gord Dougan, says the community spirit that resulted was amazing, and Hockeyville Day is a way to try and keep that community spirit alive.
First-race post time for the card is 7:15 p.m.
