Officials with Truro Raceway have announced that the track is excited to welcome fans and customers to the track to watch and wager on live Standardbred racing this Friday (June 12).

Fans wishing to book a seat indoors must reserve their seat and meal in advance by calling 902-893-8075. On Friday, Truro will be serving a Turkey Dinner. The cost is $25 per person, which includes dinner, dessert, coffee/tea/water, race program, and reserved seat (limited quantity available).
Those that are preparing to head to Truro Raceway on Friday must be aware of the following things:

Fans watching outside are encouraged to bring their own folding chair.

Portable washrooms will be provided.

Hand sanitizer will be available at ticket seller stations.

Patrons are encouraged to purchase a voucher and redeem winnings to a voucher until ready to 'cash out' for the day to assist with limited cross-contamination via cash handling.

Truro Raceway staff will wear masks and disinfect high-touch areas on a regular basis.

No parking will be allowed along the track fence in order to provide enough space for proper physical distancing. Please park behind the grandstand.

In terms of the on-track action, Truro has an eight-race card set for Friday, and each of the races will feature eight-horse fields. The first race is scheduled to head behind the starting gate at 6:00 p.m.
