Officials with Buffalo Raceway have announced the details of a purse increase that will take place at the track.
Effective Wednesday, April 4, purses at Buffalo Raceway will be increased by 10 per cent.
"It has been a difficult winter for everyone," the track’s race secretary, Tom Agosti, said via release.
Agosti went on to say, "With the cancellation of Friday racing due to a shortage of entries, and the weather-related cancellations in January and February, it has given us the opportunity to increase purses in all classes.”
Buffalo Raceway is hoping that the purse increase will have a positive impact on entries as the track enters its spring race dates.
