Vernon Downs will conduct its first qualifiers for the 2014 racing season on Tuesday (April 1) at 10:30 a.m.
The entry box will close Monday (March 31) at 10 a.m.
Three more qualifying sessions are scheduled prior to opening night (April 11): Friday (April 4) at 10:30 a.m., Tuesday (April 8 – Press Night) at 7 p.m., and Friday (April 11) at 10:30 a.m. The entry box for each session will close at 10 a.m. the day before.
Vernon Downs requires a negative Coggins Test and EHV-1 vaccination certificate within one year. Horses shipping in must have a current Health Certificate within the last 30 days. This is required only for your first start.
Horsemen are also reminded that a racing application is required for everyone regardless of stabling on the grounds or not. To obtain one, visit vernondowns.com.
