According to a report by the Truro Daily News, it has been announced that Stu Rath, one of the members of the Schooner Stable, is the 2011 recipient of the Truro and District Chamber of Commerce's Lifetime Achievement Award.
The article explains that the Truro native has been involved with many local businesses and charities over the past 50 years.
Although Rath is to be feted at the chamber's annual dinner on March 31, it is not his first honour -- in 2007 he received the United Way of Colchester County’s outstanding leadership award.
