Officials at Dover Downs announced the oval will a conduct an “Overnight” late closing series for three year old trotters and pacers.
The late closer begins on Monday 21, 2022 and conclude on closing day, Thursday March 31. The series is for Delaware Standardbred Breeders Fund eligibles only. Fifty-nine three year olds have been nominated for the late closer.
A $50 starter payment is due on the day of the race.
Draw schedule for the $10,000 eliminations are as follows:
Tuesday March 15 for Monday March 21 (three-year-old filly trot)
Wednesday March16 for Tuesday March 22 (three-year-old colt and gelding trot)
Thursday March 17 for Wednesday March 23 (three-year-old filly pace)
Monday March 21 for Thursday March 24 (three-year-old colt and gelding pace)
