Due to the impending winter storm, Meadowlands Racetrack has cancelled live harness racing scheduled for Friday, Dec. 26.
The track remains open for simulcasting and sports betting at the FanDuel Sportsbook, as does Winners Bayonne.
“Out of an abundance of caution, we (along with the horsemen) have decided to cancel live racing for tonight,” said Jason Settlemoir, COO and GM of the Meadowlands Racetrack. "We don’t want to put the horsemen and horses in jeopardy while traveling during the storm.”
