Yonkers Raceway has cancelled its card of harness racing slated for Saturday, Dec. 19.
"In response to concerns expressed by the drivers about the winter conditions, and in an abundance of caution, tonight’s races at Yonkers Raceway are canceled," said track management in a statement. "Weather permitting, racing will resume on Monday."
Saturday's cancellation comes on the heels of Friday's card being cancelled after one race due to weather and unsafe track conditions.
