Brittany Stallion Management and the Perfect Sting Syndicate have announced that 2024 bookings to stallion Perfect Sting should be directed to Deo Volente Farms for the 2024 breeding season, and not to Brittany Stallion Management as before.
Breeders may fill out the online booking application at deovolentefarms.com or call 908-782-4848.
The son of Always B Miki has stood at Deo Volente since the outset of his career at a fee of $10,000.
The stallion’s new syndicate manager will be Deo Volente’s Michael Gulotta.
According to Brittany Stallion Management’s Art Zubrod, the move is another in a series of planned changes as Brittany Farms continues to scale back operations. The farm will close after its 2024 yearlings are sold next fall.
Perfect Sting p,2,1:49.2; 3,1:48.1 ($1,861,447) is the only pacer in history to win the Breeders Crown and be voted Dan Patch champion at both two and three. He is of world champion parentage, as his sire is Always B Miki p,1:46 and his dam, Shebestingin p,3,1:47.
He was bred to full books of 140 mares in both 2022 and 2023. Brittany Stallion Management has reported that Perfect Sting has stamped his foals with his own imposing, exceptional looks and his first-crop colts and fillies are expected to be marquee attractions as they make their way to next fall’s select yearling sales.
Brittany also noted that 2024 bookings to American Ideal may still be directed to Brittany Stallion Management, either by online application at britfarms.com or by calling 859-873-3878. American Ideal stands for a fee of $10,000 at Blue Chip Farms in New York.
