Condolences to Maurie's family.

His work with his website was in the best interests for harness racing and even when it was shut down he continued to pursue the sport he had a passion for. Its been a few years since I last seen him, but our interactions will not be forgotten.

RIP

I never met Maurie but I certainly appreciate his work with race lines. He was the inspiration for TrackIt. My condolences to his family.

Another good friend has left us at much too young an age. Maurie and I corresponded on bulletin board services for quite some time before we met in person while racing at the fairs and then he always had time to chat. A super guy and will be greatly missed. My deepest condolences to all the Danko family

A shock for sure. Our condolences to Julie and kids. Also to Lori and Sue. Another taken by a miserable disease too young. R.I.P

My sincerest condolences to the Danko family. Maurie was a pioneer in the sport and made a great contribution to harness racing with his website which paved the way for programs like Pathway and Track-it. He was always happy to see me and always took the time to visit when we met at the track. He will be missed.

Wow what a shock!
My condolences to Sue and Maurie’s family. I knew Maurie very well back in the day. We had two common interests’ horses and computers. He was a great guy and someone I am honored to call my friend.
