In 2007, Jody Jamieson teamed with his father Carl to win their first Breeders Crown Final with two-year-old pacing colt Santanna Blue Chip. This year, that tandem returns to The Meadowlands with another Breeders Crown hopeful.

Ontario Sires Stakes Super Final champion Danielle Hall makes her Meadowlands debut after a strong rookie campaign north of the border.

"I think Danielle Hall has a big chance," Jamieson told Trot Insider. "She's still really sharp and I think she'll love the Big M."

A daughter of Deweycheatumnhowe - Debbie Hall, Danielle Hall has seven wins from 12 starts on the season and has only missed one cheque -- that came in her last start when she made a break out of the 10 hole at Woodbine Racetrack in the final of the Goldsmith Maid. In her elim for that stakes race, she finished a solid second behind world champion Mission Brief.

On Friday night, Danielle Hall has Post 7 in her $25,000 Breeders Crown elim (Race 2) for trainer Carl Jamieson, who co-owns with Tom Kyron. There are two seven-horse elims with the top five from each qualifying for next week's prestigious and lucrative final.

Jamieson's next Breeders Crown drive comes in Race 6 aboard speedy three-year-old filly Nat A Virgin. The daughter of Always A Virgin - Nat A Tat Tat was a winner in her last start south of the border, winning her Glen Garnsey division at The Red Mile.

"Nat A Virgin hasn't been as sharp since winning the Garnsey in Lexington but Dustin (trainer Dustin Jones) will have her back to top form for the Breeders Crown and she will contend in that division," stated Jamieson.

Dustin bred, trains and co-owns the pacing filly along with Lynn Jones of Kentucky. A total of 15 fillies dropped in the box for this division, requiring one elimination with eight fillies (Race 4) and one with seven (Race 7). The top five from each of these will also move on to next week's final.

Nat A Virgin has Post 6 in a solid field, with the morning line on Nat A Virgin at 12-1.

While not in an elimination race, Jamieson will also steer Charmed Life in an open trot in Race 5. That mare advances to next week's final, but faces a number of familiar foes including Bee A Magician, Handover Belle, Classic Martine and Mistery Woman in this unofficial prep race. She has Post 8 and is the third choice on the morning line at odds of 9-2.

"She hasn't gotten a lot of ink because of this powerhouse division, but Charmed Life can win with the right trip."

The daughter of Majestic Son - Christina M closed strongly in her last outing, a fourth-place finish in the Muscle Hill Trot at Vernon Downs. Dave Menary trains and co-owns Charmed Life along with Brad Gray and Michael Guerriero.

Jamieson was slated to drive Sports Chic for trainer Blake MacIntosh in one of the two-year-old pacing filly elims but she was scratched sick earlier in the week.
