It was announced today that a multi-year agreement has been reached between NBC Sports and the Breeders' Cup for the broadcaster to carry the North American thoroughbred industry's marquee racing series, effective this coming November
.
According to a report by the Los Angeles Times, the length of the agreement has not been announced. NBC had broadcast the Breeders' Cup from 1984 until 2005.
The Breeders' Cup races were most recently covered by ESPN.
The Breeders' Cup will be taking place November 2 and 3 at Santa Anita Park in California.
