Horseplex of Indiana has announced that millionaire Quality Western, E Dees Cam and Lawrence will stand
in Ohio for the 2010 breeding season.
The three stallions will stand at Autumn Lane Farm in Thornville, with Horseplex of Indiana handling the bookings for each.
Quality Western, p,3,1:50.2; 1:49.2f ($1,292,528) by Western Hanover--True To Life--Abercrombie, will stand his first season in 2010. The all-age track record holder at Pocono Downs, Quality Western won 42 times during his career. He earned at least $100,000 each season from ages three through nine, with stakes wins in the Oliver Wendell Holmes and Bluegrass. Quality Western also claimed victory in the Confederation Cup, American-National and William Haughton eliminations.
“His toughness is his greatest attribute,” said Victor Leonardis, a member of the partnership that owns Quality Western. “He’s as rugged as they come. He could take a first-over trip and would keep coming at you.”
Quality Western will stand for a fee of $2,500.
Joining Quality Western at Autumn Lane Farm is E Dees Cam, p,3,1:53.3; 1:48.3 ($864,767) by Cam Fella--Lindwood Sapphire--Abercrombie. During his career, E Dees Cam improved with age, winning the Dan Patch Invitational at six, Graduate Series final at seven, and Presidential Series final as an eight-year-old. As a stallion, he has produced 31 starters, with three in 1:55, including Lyon Anitacol, p,2,1:54.2h ($143,344), a multiple Ontario stakes winner as a freshman.
E Dees Cam will stand for a fee of 1,500.
Previously announced as standing in Indiana, Lawrence, 1:53.1 ($174,549) by Lindy Lane--Keystone Lady Love--Super Bowl, has also moved to Ohio for the 2010 breeding season. The fastest son of Lindy Lane to stand in North American, Lawrence offers the same pedigree as talented sire Like A Prayer, and his small-track capabilities are sure to fit well with Ohio’s pari-mutuel and fair programs. Between the ages of three and seven, he took records each year while racing on all size tracks.
Lawrence will stand his first season for a $1,250 fee.
Horseplex of Indiana is also standing stallions Moon Beam, p,3,1:51f ($772,486), by Dragon Again--Sun N Moon--Artsplace, and All Muscle, a full brother to World Champion Mr Muscleman, 1:51.1 ($3,582,823), in the Hoosier State for 2010. Both studs, each standing their first season, have arrived and are ready for viewing.
