History was made at Grand River Raceway on Tuesday night when Dawn Lupul became the first woman to announce a card of harness racing in Canada.
The standardbred combatants in the first race gave Lupul a test right off the bat with a tight photo finish, and emerging victorious was NF Rivertown and trainer-driver Roger Mayotte.

And kudos to all of the announcers out there - it is way tougher than it sounds!!
