According to a report, the Racing Medication and Testing Consortium is considering financial support of testing for two French drugs reported in use but undetectable

under present testing.

Harness Tracks of America has reported that Dr. Larry Soma of the University of Pennsylvania told columnist Andrew Cohen that money is needed for “a multi-group” effort that could lead to successful testing.

Soma told Cohen, “It may be an easy molecule to detect, once a method is developed.”
