Seiling Discusses Urging Rule

"A driver with loose lines certainly doesn't have control of the horse and we recognize need to have taut lines so you can react immediately".

That comes from Ontario Racing Commission Chairman Rod Seiling, in an interview recorded yesterday with Trot Radio's Norm Borg. Seiling and Borg discuss the new urging rule coming into effect as of Sept. 1 for horse racing - including harness racing - in Ontario.
