This week's Rewind once again takes on the title of Picture Parade. Robert Smith has displayed a random collection of photos involving people and horses who were all in the news 35 years ago in 1985.
The previous "Rules & Regulations" remain in effect. You, the reading audience, make a selection on as many pictures as you choose and submit your best guesses (or "for sure" answers) via the comment section. If you want to just view the pictures, that works too.
THE YEAR WAS 1985
# 1 - Who is the pilot of this performer from 1985? You might even know the name of the horse.
#2 - Who is the driver of #2 closest to the camera. If you can identify the driver of the inside horse please do so.
#3 - Who is in the sulky seat?
#4 - Who is the driver of #1? Name him if you can and how about figuring out what driver is at the rail?
#5 - Who do we have here, all alone approaching the wire?
6 - Name the driver and maybe even the horse who had a pretty good year in 1985.
#7 - Looks like a nice going trotter but who is the calm looking pilot? Name him if you can.
#8 - Yet another trotter, maybe there's a trend going on here. Can you name this well known driver?
#9 - Can you correctly name this fine looking gentleman?
#10 - How many people can you name in this one? Why not go for all seven; six people and the horse...Should be easy.
Bonus Photos
Who were these two "boys" as they looked a mere 35 years ago? If it takes you more than five seconds to figure them out you may be too young. Question: What special happening did both of these fellows experience in 1985? If you know, send along your answer.
Quote For The Week - "I've had a lot of compliments lately on how good I look now that I have started wearing a mask." (My own contribution to Covid humour)
