Leamington Raceway will host its annual Kids Day this Sunday, Sept. 4 featuring an afternoon filled with harness racing and family fun activities, including its big bicycle giveaway.
The Kids Day activities also include face painting, t-shirt tosses, a meet and greet with retired racehorse The Painted Pony and a behind-the-scenes tour (sign-up is required due to limited capacity).
"Kids Day has always been a huge event for us," Ellie Mayhew, Leamington Raceway's Promotions & Marketing Manager, told Trot Insider. "This year, we will be giving away 25-plus bicycles. It’s a very exciting day for the kids and we are so happy to do it for them."
Ten races are scheduled Sunday at the half-mile harness track located at Leamington Fairgrounds with first-race post time set for 1 p.m.
Admission and parking is free.
